Our website speed guarantee
Slow pages lose visitors, especially on phones. Speed is also one of the few things a web agency can honestly promise. So we put a website speed guarantee in writing.
What the website speed guarantee covers
Every site we hand over scores 90 or more for performance in Google PageSpeed Insights, measured on mobile.
How it's measured
- Tool: Google PageSpeed Insights, the free tool anyone can use.
- Device: mobile, which is the stricter test.
- Pages: your home page and the page with your main tool.
- When: on the day we hand over your site. You get a dated link to the report.
- Result: the middle score of three runs, because single runs vary a little.
What happens if we miss
We fix it at our own cost until the score is 90 or more. No extra invoice.
What the guarantee doesn't cover
The score depends on what's on the page. The guarantee covers your site as we hand it over. It doesn't cover:
- heavy images, videos or scripts added later
- third-party widgets added later, such as chat, booking or extra tracking tools
- sites hosted somewhere other than NordicHost
Why we can promise this
Our sites are lightweight code without heavy plugins, hosted on NordicHost's servers in Helsinki. A lightweight site on a fast server is fast by design.

Questions about the guarantee
Still deciding? Ask us anything. We reply to every message ourselves.
Ask a questionWhy focus on mobile and not desktop?
Many of your visitors use phones, and mobile is the harder test. A site that scores well on mobile almost always scores well on desktop.
Why not promise a load time in seconds?
Load times change with the visitor's phone and connection, so a promise in seconds can't be checked fairly. A PageSpeed score can be checked by anyone, any time.
