How we build your website before we even meet
Many web projects start with a questionnaire. Here is how we build your website instead: we start with research. By our first meeting we've built a working version of your new website that you can open on your own phone.

The whole process on one ring
Tap a step to read it. The ring turns slowly on its own, and the two neighbouring steps light up.
We study your business from the outside
Before we meet, we look at your business the way a buyer does.
We build the first version
We build a working first version from the research, on a preview link you can open on your phone.
We meet and go through it together
We go through the site with you, page by page.
We refine it together
Once we've agreed, we turn the first version into the finished site.
We launch on NordicHost, with a dated report
Your site goes live on NordicHost's servers in Helsinki, in its own isolated environment with HTTPS. The domain stays in your name.
After launch
In the first weeks we check Search Console for unindexed pages, broken links and old addresses that still need a redirect.
What we need from you
Very little before the first meeting.
We study your business from the outside
Before we meet, we look at your business the way a buyer does.
Your current website
What it says, what's missing, phone layout and PageSpeed.
Map results, ordinary results and your Business Profile for your main services.
What AI assistants say
ChatGPT and Google's AI, asked your buyers' questions.
Your reviews and your competitors' reviews
What customers praise, complain about and keep asking.
Your competitors' websites
What they promise, what they leave out, where you're stronger.
What people search for
The words buyers use, often not your industry's words.
Your own material
Logo, colours, photos, references and published prices.
We build the first version
We build a working first version from the research, on a preview link you can open on your phone.
The first version includes:
- a home page and your main service pages, with texts from the research
- a new design from your logo, colours and photos
- the structure for the whole site: services, areas, work and contact
- a plan for the tool that would help your buyers most, if one fits
- a speed measurement of the preview
We meet and go through it together
We go through the site with you, page by page.
You tell us what we couldn't know from the outside, and we agree the pages, the tools, the schedule and one fixed price.
We refine it together
Once we've agreed, we turn the first version into the finished site.
Texts
We complete every page; you check services, prices, areas and guarantees.
Photos
Your own photos of your people and your work wherever we can.
Tools
Built with your real rules and prices, tested with you.
Service and area pages
One per agreed service and area, with own content.
Your old addresses
Every old page gets a destination; nothing earned in Google is lost.
Review rounds
You comment on the live preview until it's right.
We launch on NordicHost, with a dated report
Your site goes live on NordicHost's servers in Helsinki, in its own isolated environment with HTTPS. The domain stays in your name.
On launch day we:
- point your domain to the new site and test every redirect
- check that ad links and tracking keep working, if you run ads
- set up Google Search Console and submit your sitemap
- test the site on phones, tablets and the main browsers
- measure home and tool pages in PageSpeed three times each, dated report included
The guarantee is mobile PageSpeed 90 or more at handover. Read the speed guarantee.
After launch
In the first weeks we check Search Console for unindexed pages, broken links and old addresses that still need a redirect.
After that we make changes for you and measure requests, the value of tool estimates, speed, and how you appear in Google and AI answers.
What we need from you
Very little before the first meeting.
- Before we meet: your company name and website address.
- Once we've agreed: logo files, photos, pricing rules and your comments on the preview.
- At launch: domain access, or who manages your domain, and Google Business Profile access.
Questions about how we build your website
Still deciding? Ask us anything. We reply to every message ourselves.
Ask a questionHow can you build my site before we meet?
Everything we need is public: your site, your reviews, your competitors and what people search for. AI speeds up the groundwork; people do the research, design, writing and checks.
What if I don't like the first version?
Then the meeting has done its job. It's easier to say what's wrong with a real site than to describe a perfect one.
Will my current website go offline during the project?
No. Your current site stays live until the new one is ready, and visitors and Google move straight to the new pages.
Do I need to prepare anything for the first meeting?
No. Photos and a price list help, but we can start without them.
How long does it take from the first meeting to launch?
It depends on the pages and tools, and how quickly texts are checked and photos come in; we agree the schedule with the fixed price.
