Don't invest in an SEO partner before your website is built for search
Many local businesses buy a website first and SEO later, as a monthly add-on. We plan every site around the searches your buyers make, so the SEO work is part of the build, not local SEO services you rent by the month.
SEO for a local business means making sure that people nearby who search for what you do find you, trust what they see and get in touch. Most of it belongs inside the website: a page for each service and area, clean technical basics, structured data and speed. The rest is your Google Business Profile, your reviews and the same details everywhere.
How do local search results work today?
A local search on Google shows up to three kinds of results: the map, the website results and, increasingly, an AI answer.
Illustration: how Google builds its picture of a local business from several sources.
Map results
The local pack comes from Google Business Profiles, "mainly based on relevance, distance, and popularity"; reviews help, and there's no way to pay for a better local ranking (Google, 2026).
Website results
A page about kitchen renovation in Espoo competes for that search. A home page listing twenty services rarely competes for any.
AI Overviews and AI Mode
AI Mode has passed one billion monthly users (Alphabet, 2026). Of 21.9 million US searches, 4.4% of real estate searches had an AI Overview, against 48.7% in health care (Conductor, 2026). Google says these features are rooted in its core ranking systems (Google, 2026). Read about AI search optimization.
What's built into every site
SEO for local businesses is part of the price, not a separate package.
Technical basics
Plain HTML, HTTPS, sitemap, robots.txt, canonicals, no broken links, one H1, titles up to 60 and descriptions up to 155 characters.

A clear structure
Home, services, areas, work and contact, with breadcrumbs.

Service and area pages
Real content on each; town-swap pages are doorway abuse (Google, 2026).

Structured data
LocalBusiness, Service, FAQ and breadcrumb markup, which helps Google show details like opening hours (Google, 2026).

Speed
Mobile PageSpeed 90+ at handover, in writing; Google recommends good Core Web Vitals "for success with Search" (Google, 2025).

Internal links
Every service page links to its tool, your work and your areas.

Old addresses kept
Every old address is kept or redirected, and tested before the switch.

Local SEO services built in: Business Profile, reviews and consistent details

For the map results, your Google Business Profile matters as much as your website. Google says complete and accurate profiles are more likely to show up in local results (Google, 2026).
- Google Business Profile. Right categories, every service, real area, hours, own photos, matching link.
- Reviews. 97% of US consumers read reviews for local businesses and 89% expect the owner to respond (BrightLocal, 2026). We show yours and make asking easy; we never write or buy them.
- Same details everywhere. Name, address and phone on your site, structured data, profile and directories.
Content that answers buyer questions
The pages that win local searches answer what buyers ask before they call: what will it cost, how long will it take, do you work in my area?
Google's guide for AI features values "unique expert or experienced takes that go beyond common knowledge" (Google, 2026). Your own projects, prices and know-how are exactly that.
How we measure SEO for local businesses

By what Google shows and what your site brings in, not by a score we invent.
Search Console
Shows your searches, clicks and unindexed pages, AI features included (Google, 2025). Set up at launch.
Rankings
Your main services in your towns, treated as a guide, not a scoreboard.
Calls and requests
Calls, form requests and tool estimates, with their euro value.
Speed
A dated PageSpeed report at handover, which you can rerun any time.
What we promise, and what no one can
The work and the measurement, not a position in Google. Google itself says "No one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google" (Google, 2026).
We don't buy links, which Google's spam policies count as link spam.
Questions about SEO for local businesses
Still deciding? Ask us anything. We reply to every message ourselves.
Ask a questionHow long does SEO take to work?
Technical fixes count from Google's first recrawl after launch. Content, reviews and links build over months; we tell you what to expect before we start.
Do I need a Google Business Profile?
If you serve a local area, yes. It's where the map results come from.
Will a new website hurt my rankings?
Not when the move is done carefully: we keep or redirect every old address and check Search Console after the switch.
Is SEO a one-off job or a monthly one?
The foundations are a one-off, built into your site. What keeps paying is new content, new reviews and up-to-date details everywhere.
Can you guarantee the first page of Google?
No. No one honestly can, and Google warns against anyone who claims to.
Do you buy links?
No. Bought links break Google's spam policies; real mentions from suppliers, associations and local news are worth far more.
How much does local SEO cost?
With us it is part of the website, not a monthly add-on: the service and area pages, the structured data and the speed are built in. Ongoing work, such as new pages or Business Profile upkeep, is agreed separately and measured the same way.
What is Google Business Profile optimization?
Keeping your profile complete and consistent with your website: the same name, address, phone, hours and services, real photos, answered reviews and the right categories. It is what Google reads for map results.
Is SEO worth it for a small business?
When buyers search for your service in your area, yes. The work pays back as calls and quote requests, which is why we measure those rather than a position in Google.
