Who we are

Äijä Group Oy (Business ID 3412426-3, Tampere, Finland) is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us at sulo@aijagroup.fi.

What data we collect

• Contact requests: your name, email, phone number, company and website address, and what you tell us in the form.
• Website check: the website addresses you enter, and your contact details if you choose to leave them.
• AI assistant: the messages you write to the assistant and its replies.
• Customers: the contact and billing details needed for our contract.
• Website use: technical data such as your browser and pages visited, only as described in our cookie notice.

Why we use it

• To answer your request and prepare an offer. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries.
• To deliver our services and invoice them. Legal basis: contract and legal obligations such as accounting.
• To improve our website and services. Legal basis: legitimate interest, or your consent where the cookie notice says so.
• To send occasional business information to business contacts. Legal basis: legitimate interest. You can opt out at any time.

Who handles your data for us

We use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf:

• NordicHost Oy: website hosting in Helsinki, Finland.
• Google (Google Workspace): email.
• Resend, Inc.: delivery of form notifications and landing page check reports (EU region).
• Anthropic PBC: the AI analysis in the landing page check. Only the page address, the goal you give and the public page content are sent, not your name or email address.

If a provider processes data outside the EU or EEA, we make sure the transfer is protected, for example with the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

• Contact requests and website check details: up to {24} months after our last contact, unless we start working together.
• AI assistant conversations: up to {12} months.
• Customer and accounting data: as long as the law requires, usually six years after the end of the financial year.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, and receive it in a portable format. To use your rights, email sulo@aijagroup.fi.

If you think we're not handling your data correctly, you can complain to the Data Protection Ombudsman in Finland (tietosuoja.fi).
